Storyline:
Chuck Levine and Larry Valentine are friends and Brooklyn firefighting partners. Widower Larry, who still mourns the death of his wife Paula, is having problems changing the beneficiary on his insurance policy from Paula's name to his children's. He is worried about his children's future if he were to be killed in the line of duty, and is contemplating quitting his job for something less risky, but he also does not want to forfeit his firefighter's pension as he also see it as a safety net for his children. Larry saves Chuck's life on one of their calls. So when Chuck tells Larry that he owes him one, Larry takes him up on his offer. Larry's favor: despite both being heterosexual, that they enter into a domestic partnership, in name and paper only, to provide that much needed protection for Larry's children. If you want a good laugh this is the movie to go see. This movie will keep you laughing through out the whole movie. Funny but also had a good story and a good lesson for all. I would highly recommend this movie. Laughing is very good for everyone lets you relieve the stress that life gives us and this is the movie to do just that.

This movie, like most comedies these days, is completely offensive and humor-less. The movie is full of sex jokes, asian stereotype jokes, and fat jokes. Is this what a comedy needs to be funny these days? Can't writers think of new ideas? (Wow, a fat guy lands on Sandler and farts in his face! Hilarious!) Oh, and of course let's not forget the "guy drops soap in the shower and is afraid to pick it up because he's afraid of getting raped" joke. I could go on about other taste-less jokes in the movie. Sandler's usual frat pack pays the audience a visit as well. I enjoyed seeing Steve Buscemi in the movie, however, even though he should be using his talents in other roles. Bottom line, if you're an immature teenager who loves garbage-filled comedies, then by all means go and watch the movie.

I went into this movie thinking it was going to be some uber comedy but it ended up being very entertaining in a different way than expected. It had some depth rather than just pointing out the funny things about the gay community. It was well worth my time.

I got to see an early screening of this a few weeks ago. I knew it would be funny but funny would be an understatement in this case! I have never herd a cinema laugh so loudly and so often. Without question was the funniest movie I probably have ever seen. Adam Sandler and Kevin James = hilarious. I will definately be seeing this again once it hits theatres and everyone else should do the same!
